  • National Tutoring Reimbursement Program

    Request for Reimbursement - Fiscal Year (FY) 2026-2027

  • Provides financial reimbursement (up to $1,500) for tutoring services delivered to dependent school-aged children of currently serving Regular and Reserve Forces CAF members to ease education challenges related to the mobile military lifestyle and the impact of disruption to dependent children’s education continuum.

     

    Required Documents

    · One application per child. The submission must include:

    · A current copy of the CAF Member's Member Personnel Record Resume (MPRR); and

    · A current Individual Education Plan (IEP) or equivalent or a Letter of Support from the child's current school or other qualified professional validating the need for tutoring services; and

    · 2 most recent report cards; and

    · Paid invoices and receipts for delivered tutoring services.

     

     Additional Eligibility Requirements

    · The child can be in an educational jurisdiction INCAN or OUTCAN.

    · The child must be enrolled in an accredited elementary or secondary school or following a homeschool program.

    · Tutoring services must be delivered by academic institutions, community organizations, or registered tutoring companies or persons that specialize in providing academic supports to children and youth. Where possible, Support Our Troops encourages families to select tutors who are either trained teachers or educators. Support Our Troops will reimburse approved funding for tutoring delivered in person or online.

    All application window open and close times are listed in Eastern Time (ET).

     

    Please note

    This form is to request a reimbursement for the cost of delivered tutoring services incurred between 01 April 2026 and the time of submission. There is no pre‑approval process; all required documents must be submitted together in the Request for Reimbursement Form. 

    Submission of this form does not guarentee funding. Eligible submissions will receive a separate form by email to provide banking information required for reimbursement. Non-eligible submissions will be notified of denial. Please check your email for your application status.
